We were not up so early this morning and had slept very soundly last night after our exertions yesterday. We went down to breakfast at 8.30 a.m. and it being Sunday we did not have any plans as most things around here do not operate on Sundays, except for the church, of course.

It was, as usual a bright clear day with some fluffy clouds  but warm and with a refreshing breeze. After breakfast we decide just to stay by the pool and lounge in the sun loungers provided and this was a restful and pleasant couple of hours.

Later we changed in bathing suits for a dip in the pool. The forecast for us today did not seem to involve a lot of energy sapping activities and that was perhaps wise after yesterday. The pool, if small is delightful with an infinity view of the bay from the edge. The water just the right temperature and the color, of course, bright blue. We could have stayed in the water for along time.

The hotel Manager, Jerome, who said it was his day off decided that he had to power-wash the patio by the pool so our sourjourn there was slightly interrupted and we had to move to another location. The price for doing this for him was a free lunch. Never so easily earned!! We moved and then were served lunch of a sandwich and a panini with beer and a non-alcoholic cocktail to wash it down. The power-washing exercise was interesting in itself as it seemed to involve the minute souring of the whole tiled area and was carried out in an extremely meticulous way. After we finished lunch we decided to retire to the room and rest for the balance of the afternoon. This we achieved with little effort!!

At 8 p.m. we went down to dinner and enjoyed our meal looking out over the darkening harbor.
